WIRE’s Final MC Meeting & Working Groups Workshop
“Reflecting on Achievements and Shaping Future Collaborations”
Mont-de-Marsan, 15-16th September 2025
The final Management Committee (MC) meeting of the WIRE COST Action will serve as a critical moment to reflect on the progress made throughout the duration of the Action, evaluate the achievements, and discuss the future of WIRE beyond its official funding period.
The meeting will focus on assessing the outcomes of the work done, with special attention to the key objectives achieved, challenges faced, and lessons learned. In addition to reviewing the past, the meeting will also be forward-looking, exploring potential pathways for continuing the work of WIRE in other formats.
This discussion will focus on how to sustain the network, expand collaborations, and potentially initiate new projects or follow-up actions.
The meeting will also feature our usual Working Groups Workshop, with oral and poster presentations from the participants, providing a platform for participants to engage in practical discussions, share their research outcomes, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
This event is designed to foster knowledge exchange, strengthen the community, and set a clear direction for how WIRE will continue to evolve and impact the field moving forward.
