WIRE’s MC Meeting & 5th Working Groups Workshop
Istanbul, 18-19 April 2024
WIRE’s MC Meeting & 5th Working Groups Workshop took place in Turkey on April 18-19, 2024.
The event was organized in collaboration with Hacettepe University, Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Yıldız Technical University (YTU) and TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM).
The first day of the WIRE’s MC Meeting & 5th Working Groups Workshop featured meetings at ITU Ayazaga Campus. On the second day, the meetings were held at the Marmara Research Center Campus of TÜBİTAK, and the participants visited the research laboratories in the TUBİTAK Campus.Keynote presentations about Turkey’s and Europe’s first carbon-negative integrated biorefinery and biogas production in the mega city of Istanbul’s WWTP and solid waste sites towards sustainability were shared dring this event and there were also several sessions to enhance the networking opportunities of the participants during the workshop.
